Q&A

What is The Travel Post?

The Travel Post is a monthly correspondence created for those who love to discover the world a little more slowly.

Each month, you'll receive a discovery letter from a different destination, a postcard, a collectible sticker, and a thoughtfully chosen surprise inspired by that place. Some months it might be a curated itinerary, a bookmark, a piece of stationery, a glimpse into the destination's history, or another thoughtful addition to deepen the experience.

Every correspondence is carefully curated with the hope of inspiring curiosity, encouraging slower travel, and bringing a small piece of the world to your mailbox.

When do subscriptions close?

Subscriptions close on the 23rd of each month.

If you subscribe after the 23rd, your journey will begin with the following month's correspondence. This gives us a little time to carefully prepare every letter before it begins its journey.

When are the correspondences mailed?

Correspondences are mailed during the first week of each month.

Before beginning their journey, each one is carefully prepared by hand and tucked into its envelope, ready to find its way to your mailbox.

How long will it take to arrive?

Every correspondence is sent through standard postal service, just as letters have been for generations.

Because each one travels through the postal system without tracking, delivery times can vary depending on where you live. Most correspondences arrive within 1 to 6 weeks.

Part of the beauty of snail mail is that it moves at its own pace. Sometimes it arrives sooner than expected, and sometimes it takes the scenic route. Either way, we hope it feels just as special when it reaches your mailbox.

If your correspondence hasn't arrived after six weeks, please email us at infothetravelpost@gmail.com. We'll happily send another one (if available) or refund that month's correspondence.

How do I update my address, payment method, or subscription?

You can manage your subscription at any time by logging into your account.

From there, you can update your mailing address, payment method, or cancel your subscription. To avoid being charged for the following month's correspondence, please make any changes before the 23rd of the month.

If you ever need a hand, you're always welcome to reach out at infothetravelpost@gmail.com.

Will every month be a different destination?

Yes.

Each correspondence is inspired by a different destination. Some places you'll recognize instantly, while others may quietly find their way onto your list of places to visit one day.

Would The Travel Post make a thoughtful gift?

Yes.

Whether it's for someone who is always planning their next trip, a parent who inspired your love of travel, a grandparent who no longer travels as much, or a friend dreaming about places they'll visit one day, The Travel Post was created to bring the joy of discovery to every mailbox.

Sometimes, the world comes to us.
